You need exercise. You need Movement because you need strength, balance, coordination, speed, agility, and stamina in order to be your best self, your healthiest self, to move towards what matters most for you.

Exercise/Movement done in appropriate doses makes you healthier in just about every way you can imagine. You move, you, healthy. 

A sedentary lifestyle makes you sick. Sick in just about every way you can imagine. Sick muscles. Sick bones. Sick brain. Sick heart. Sick lungs. You, Sick. 

Be healthy, exercise! Since you must move to be your best, you might as well enjoy it. 

Moving your body should feel good. It should be enjoyable. It should make you feel alive, vibrant. 

When you move in a way that feels good exercise is something you look forward to, something you want to do because it:

  • Energizes You
  • Brightens Your Mood
  • Makes You More Creative
  • Boosts You Confidence
  • Is a Way to Love Yourself

Many people find exercise to be painful, and associate it with punishment. Our culture teaches us that in order to “count” exercise has to be done a certain (painful) way. “No pain, no gain.”  This idea is totally wrong and causes many people not to move at all. This is thinking getting in the way of experiencing the joy of movement. Movement is healing medicine, a tonic for body and mind. 

One of my favorite things is helping people move in fun and interesting ways that make them healthier and stronger so their movement ability increases and a they have more physical freedom to move toward what matters most
